The combination of mechanical processing and innovative sealing creates a mirror-smooth metal surface. Thanks to its dirt-repellent properties, contaminants such as brake dust and salt adhere less and can be removed effortlessly. In addition, the new premium surface is highly resistant to UV radiation, salt, and chemical corrosion.
The UltraShield surface is easy to clean and particularly low-maintenance without the need for polishing. It retains its shine even after numerous cleaning cycles.
“We are launching UltraShield because our customers want wheels that stay beautiful and clean, but don’t have much time for maintenance,” explains Erwin Eigel. “With our new surface, the wheels shine without much effort. This minimizes maintenance frequency and thus also operating costs and downtime for vehicle fleets.”
