For us as a technical partner, this project is far more than a traditional collaboration: it offers the opportunity to apply our expertise in high-performance wheels under real motorsport conditions and to further develop it in a targeted manner.
As part of the project, our RF1 has been systematically refined and tailored to the specific demands of racing. Factors such as weight, strength, thermal resistance, and durability are the primary focus—particularly with regard to use in endurance racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The project impressively demonstrates how closely motorsport and production development are intertwined at RONAL: The RF1 FORGED, our forged high-performance wheel, is already available as a 20-inch street version and directly benefits from the experience and insights gained from such projects.
With the upcoming participation in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the next phase is now beginning: The vehicle and components will be further tested under real racing conditions—with an eye toward the major highlight, the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in May.
