Together with the Four Motors racing team, the RONAL GROUP is demonstrating that sustainable high-end products can hold their own on the world’s toughest racetrack. Since 2021 we have been supporting Four Motors, Germany’s first sustainable racing team, equipping its bioconcept cars with innovative wheels.
The Four Motors project involves testing and implementing breakthrough technologies such as re-refined engine oil, E20 plus fuel, lightweight natural fiber bodies and other advanced materials. RONAL GROUP has equipped Four Motors with the first CO2-reduced RONAL Motorsport wheel, made of 70% secondary aluminum and only 30% primary aluminum. This represents a saving of around 50% CO2 compared to an average European wheel. The wheel is especially light: With the RONAL Motorsport RM1, the RONAL GROUP can save more than 6 kg on the vehicle, meaning reduced tire wear and lower fuel consumption.
By integrating these sustainable technologies into the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car (#320) – driven by none other than Smudo, front man of the “Fantastic Four” – just like the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (#420) and Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport 981 (#633), the team is able to compete at the highest level whilst minimizing its environmental impact.
