High-tech 5-axis machines are used to produce prototypes and models in a wide range of different materials such as aluminum or plastic. We also create associated applications featuring the latest production technology and surface finishes.
Prototypes – also known as production models – are always manufactured under series production conditions using standard tools at the subsequent production site. This also applies to the casting material and coating. The responsibility for prototypes lies with the technical project manager and the relevant plant coordinator. Prototypes that are not approved are melted down again. The RONAL GROUP “archive” only contains a single official first sample wheel – in the case of aftermarket wheels it is the KBA sample wheel provided with a seal.
